Guido Müller

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

"I’m interested in where we’re going, not where we are today. As a result, we think about solutions and innovation rather than problems, release energy and move forward."

Guido Müller has been leading our company as CEO since January 2021. He had already worked for Swisscard from 2003 to 2010, most recently as a Member of the Executive Board responsible for Consumer Business and Marketing & Sales. As Country Manager from 2012 to 2017, he expanded Mastercard’s market leadership in the credit and debit card business in Switzerland with a digital innovation agenda. From 2018 to 2020, he was responsible for the Data & Services business in South East Asia at Mastercard Asia Pacific Ltd. in Singapore, including the areas of analytics and data platforms, consulting and marketing services and loyalty solutions. Guido Müller holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Zurich and has further training in strategic marketing and digital commerce.


Roman Binder

Chief Finance Officer (CFO)

“Healthy finances are not an end in themselves, but the basis for giving our customers the best in every situation. That’s what I’m committed to every day.”

Roman Binder took over as Head of the Finance Department from April 2023. Before that, he was CFO at Microcaps, a spin-off from the ETH Zurich environment. From 2004 to 2008 and from 2010 to 2019, he held senior finance, risk, and strategy roles for Credit Suisse and UBS – both in Switzerland and in Singapore and Hong Kong. In addition, he held executive management positions at financial service providers for sustainable investments and spent 7 years at McKinsey as a consultant for Corporate Finance & Strategy and Banking & Securities. Roman Binder studied business administration (lic. rer. pol.) at the University of Basel, majoring in corporate finance, business information technology, and operations research.


Enrico Salvadori

Chief Transformation Officer (CTO)

"I want us to understand our customers and find innovative ways to keep impressing them and winning them over."

Enrico Salvadori took over the role of Chief Transformation Officer in May 2024. Previously, he headed the Department of Customer Solutions from January 2023. He started as Head Consumer Business at Swisscard in May 2019 and then took over as Chief Commercial Officer in September 2019. Enrico Salvadori moved from Credit Suisse to Swisscard. His most recent position was managing director of Marketing & Sponsoring at the Swiss bank. In earlier positions at Credit Suisse and Clariden Leu, he designed advanced processes for successfully controlling and improving innovation in the fields of product management, sales and customer experience. Before joining Credit Suisse Group, Enrico Salvadori worked as a strategy advisor for leading financial service providers in Europe and Africa. Prior to that, he graduated from the University of Turin with a degree in Business Management. He also holds a European Master in Management from the ESCP-EAP Business School.


Alex Friedli

Chief Operations Officer (COO)

"Learning and discovering new things every day, developing and implementing effective solutions as part of a team that move Swisscard forward as a whole – that’s what motivates me, that’s what drives me."

Alex Friedli took over as head of the Customer Service department in October 2022. Prior to that, he had been in charge of the Agile & Digital Delivery department since September 2020. He has worked for Swisscard since it was established in 1998 and has held a wide variety of managerial positions since then. These include managing the B2B business, heading up the company-wide transition program for the Swisscard IT processing platform and being responsible for the Customer Service business area from 2005 to 2009. Before joining Swisscard, he worked in product management for card products at Credit Suisse. Alex Friedli holds a university degree in Business Economics from the University of St. Gallen (lic. oec. HSG), majoring in organization.


Barbara Allemann

Chief People Officer (CPO)

Barbara Allemann has headed the People department since March 2015. Before joining Swisscard, she worked at Credit Suisse, most recently as Head HR Business Partner in the Corporate & Institutional Clients division. In the Private Banking & Wealth Management division she was responsible for the HR management strategy and managed HR processes. She worked in different divisions at Credit Suisse for almost 20 years in total. Barbara Allemann studied Business Economics at the Kaderschule Zürich and has a certificate in coaching.


Linda de Winter

Chief Information Officer (CIO)

“For me, digital transformation means thinking about our customers’ future needs and ensuring that we create a unique customer experience with our IT resources. Always keeping one step ahead of today is my mission and motivation.”

Linda de Winter has headed the IT Department since April 2023. Before that, she was Head of Development from 2016 and last year Head of Strategy and COO as well as a member of the IT Board at Swiss Post. She also held various positions at Swisscom, including Product Management and Outsourcing Service Desk for business customers. Linda de Winter holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Groningen, a Master of Science in Telecommunication as well as an MBA in Strategic and Financial Management from Webster University and a CAS in General Management for Boards of Directors from the Rochester-Bern Executive Programs. In recognition of her dedication to serving as a role model for women and girls in the tech industry, Linda de Winter was honored with the InspiringFifty award in 2019. She has been actively promoting women in the tech industry and in leadership positions for several years.


Daniel Muff

Chief Risk Officer (CRO)

"Our huge challenge is to ensure a sustainable and optimized risk balance for our customers and Swisscard in the digital transformation."

Daniel Muff took over as head of the Risk Department in mid-October 2020. As CRO, he is responsible for Swisscard’s entire risk management and for adapting existing instruments and processes to the increasing digitization of the credit card business. Daniel Muff was Head of Risk Management and member of the Executive Board at BANK-now from 2013. Prior to this, he held various management positions at Credit Suisse for 13 years, including responsibility for developing rating models in accordance with Basel II and working for the last five years as Head Risk Return Management Corporate Clients. He is a member of various industry committees and also serves as President of the IKO Consumer Credit Information Office. Daniel Muff studied Politics and Economics at the University of Zurich, majoring in banking and finance, and completed his doctorate in Economics in 2005.


Armin Czapla

Chief Growth Officer (CGO)

"Inspiring even more customers for the Swisscard products with attractive and relevant offers. In doing so, breaking new ground, developing partnerships, and working together as a team to pursue goals and succeed – those are the things that drive me each day."

In August 2023, Armin Czapla started his new role as Head of the Customer Growth Department. He was previously (since 2019) Senior Director Partner Sales & Ambient and member of the Management Board at the Lufthansa Group and Miles & More. In this role he was responsible for developing new sales channels and innovative products, the internationalization as well as the transformation and digitization in this area. He previously worked at Miles & More from 2013 to 2018 as Head of International Cards & Financial Solutions, in addition to other roles. Armin Czapla gained his first professional experience in the banking sector. Through his subsequent roles at AirPlus International, Miles & More in Frankfurt and the Lufthansa Group among others, he draws on several years of expertise in the area of "cards". Armin Czapla has a Master’s in Business Administration / General Management from the University of Applied Sciences Frankfurt.


Sabine Mantoiu

Interim Chief Solutions Officer (CSO)

Sabine Mantoiu took over the role of Interim Chief Solutions Officer in May 2024. She started as Head of Business Development at Swisscard in January 2019 and in September 2019 she took over as Head of Product Line Management and Head of Customer Experience & Engagement in Consumer Business and later Customer Solutions. Previously, Sabine Mantoiu held various leadership positions at Credit Suisse, including Interim COO for Products, Investments & Marketing. As Head of Business Management Products, Investments & Marketing, Sabine Mantoiu was previously responsible for internal communications, cost and risk management, reporting and projects. As Head of Offering Management, she worked for private & wealth management clients, focusing on investment campaigns and platform development. Sabine Mantoiu holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Basel.
