Guido Müller

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Guido Müller has been leading our company as CEO since January 2021. He had already worked for Swisscard from 2003 to 2010, most recently as a Member of the Executive Board responsible for Consumer Business and Marketing & Sales. As Country Manager from 2012 to 2017, he expanded Mastercard’s market leadership in the credit and debit card business in Switzerland with a digital innovation agenda. From 2018 to 2020, he was responsible for the Data & Services business across South East Asia. Guido Müller holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Zurich and has completed further training in Digital Commerce / Blockchain at MIT and in Corporate Governance at the University of St. Gallen.

Linda de Winter

Chief Information Officer (CIO)

“For me, digital transformation means thinking about our customers’ future needs and ensuring that we create a unique, secure, and consistent customer experience with our IT resources. Staying one step ahead of today – with rapidly advancing new technologies—is both my mission and my motivation."

Linda de Winter has headed the IT Department since April 2023. Before that, she was Head of Development from 2016 and last year Head of Strategy and COO as well as a member of the IT Board at Swiss Post. She also held various positions at Swisscom, including Product Management and Outsourcing Service Desk for business customers. Linda de Winter holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Groningen, a Master of Science in Telecommunication as well as an MBA in Strategic and Financial Management from Webster University and a CAS in General Management for Boards of Directors from the Rochester-Bern Executive Programs. In recognition of her dedication to serving as a role model for women and girls in the tech industry, Linda de Winter was honored with the InspiringFifty award in 2019. She has been actively promoting women in the tech industry and in leadership positions for several years.

Roman Binder

Chief Financial Officer (CFO) & Corporate Functions 

"Healthy finances are not an end in themselves, but the foundation for giving our customers the best in every situation and offering them financial flexibility . That’s what I am committed to every day." 

Roman Binder joined Swisscard as CFO in 2023 and currently heads the Finance and Corporate Functions department. Before that, he was CFO at Microcaps, a spin-off from the ETH Zurich environment. From 2004 to 2008 and from 2010 to 2019, he held senior finance, risk, and strategy roles for Credit Suisse and UBS – both in Switzerland and in Singapore and Hong Kong. In addition, he held executive management positions at financial service providers for sustainable investments and spent 7 years at McKinsey as a consultant for Corporate Finance & Strategy and Banking & Securities. Roman Binder studied business administration (lic. rer. pol.) at the University of Basel, majoring in corporate finance, business information technology, and operations research.

Sabine Mantoiu

Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)

Since May 2026, Sabine Mantoiu has headed the Marketing & Sales department, overseeing Swisscard’s commercial strategy, growth, and customer and market experiences. She began her career at Swisscard in January 2019 as Head of Business Development, and in September 2019 took over as Head of Product Line Management and Head of Customer Experience & Engagement in Consumer Business, later Customer Solutions. In May 2024, she assumed the role of Interim Chief Solutions Officer, leading the department. As Head of Business Management Products, Investments & Marketing, Sabine Mantoiu was previously responsible for internal communications, cost and risk management, reporting and projects. As Head of Offering Management, she worked for private & wealth management clients, focusing on investment campaigns and platform development. Sabine Mantoiu holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Basel.

Alex Friedli

Chief Operations Officer (COO)

"Learning and discovering new things every day, developing and implementing effective solutions as part of a team that move Swisscard forward as a whole – that’s what motivates me, that’s what drives me."

Alex Friedli took over as head of the Customer Service department in October 2022. Prior to that, he had been in charge of the Agile & Digital Delivery department since September 2020. He has worked for Swisscard since it was established in 1998 and has held a wide variety of managerial positions since then. These include managing the B2B business, heading up the company-wide transition program for the Swisscard IT processing platform and being responsible for the Customer Service business area from 2005 to 2009. Before joining Swisscard, he worked in product management for card products at Credit Suisse. Alex Friedli holds a university degree in Business Economics from the University of St. Gallen (lic. oec. HSG), majoring in organization.

Barbara Allemann

Lead People & Culture

Barbara Allemann has headed the People department since March 2015, People & Culture since May 2026. Before joining Swisscard, she worked at Credit Suisse, most recently as Head HR Business Partner in the Corporate & Institutional Clients division. In the Private Banking & Wealth Management division she was responsible for the HR management strategy and managed HR processes. She worked in different divisions at Credit Suisse for almost 20 years in total. Barbara Allemann studied Business Economics at the Kaderschule Zürich and has a certificate in coaching.
