Guido Müller

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

"I’m interested in where we’re going, not where we are today. As a result, we think about solutions and innovation rather than problems, release energy and move forward."

Guido Müller has been leading our company as CEO since January 2021. He had already worked for Swisscard from 2003 to 2010, most recently as a Member of the Executive Board responsible for Consumer Business and Marketing & Sales. As Country Manager from 2012 to 2017, he expanded Mastercard’s market leadership in the credit and debit card business in Switzerland with a digital innovation agenda. From 2018 to 2020, he was responsible for the Data & Services business in South East Asia at Mastercard Asia Pacific Ltd. in Singapore, including the areas of analytics and data platforms, consulting and marketing services and loyalty solutions. Guido Müller holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Zurich and has further training in strategic marketing and digital commerce.

Enrico Salvadori

Chief Solutions Officer (CSO)

"I want us to understand our customers and find innovative ways to keep impressing them and winning them over."

Enrico Salvadori took over as Head of the Customer Solutions Department in January 2023. He started as Head Consumer Business at Swisscard in May 2019 and then took over as Chief Commercial Officer in September 2019. Enrico Salvadori moved from Credit Suisse to Swisscard. His most recent position was managing director of Marketing & Sponsoring at the Swiss bank. In earlier positions at Credit Suisse and Clariden Leu, he designed advanced processes for successfully controlling and improving innovation in the fields of product management, sales and customer experience. Before joining Credit Suisse Group, Enrico Salvadori worked as a strategy advisor for leading financial service providers in Europe and Africa. Prior to that, he graduated from the University of Turin with a degree in Business Management. He also holds a European Master in Management from the ESCP-EAP Business School.

Alex Friedli

Chief Operations Officer (COO)

"Learning and discovering new things every day, developing and implementing effective solutions as part of a team that move Swisscard forward as a whole – that’s what motivates me, that’s what drives me."

Alex Friedli took over as head of the Customer Service department in October 2022. Prior to that, he had been in charge of the Agile & Digital Delivery department since September 2020. He has worked for Swisscard since it was established in 1998 and has held a wide variety of managerial positions since then. These include managing the B2B business, heading up the company-wide transition program for the Swisscard IT processing platform and being responsible for the Customer Service business area from 2005 to 2009. Before joining Swisscard, he worked in product management for card products at Credit Suisse. Alex Friedli holds a university degree in Business Economics from the University of St. Gallen (lic. oec. HSG), majoring in organization.

Barbara Allemann

Chief People Officer (CPO)

Barbara Allemann has headed the Human Resources department since March 2015. Before joining Swisscard, she worked at Credit Suisse, most recently as Head HR Business Partner in the Corporate & Institutional Clients division. In the Private Banking & Wealth Management division she was responsible for the HR management strategy and managed HR processes. She worked in different divisions at Credit Suisse for almost 20 years in total. Barbara Allemann studied Business Economics at the Kaderschule Zürich and has a certificate in coaching.

Marco Bazzani

Chief Information Officer (CIO)

"I am driven by my team’s ambition to consistently create customer value by continuously improving the stability, security and innovation efficiency of our IT."

Marco Bazzani has been heading IT at Executive Board level since October 2017. He has been working successfully in finance for more than 30 years, with more than 20 of them at Credit Suisse. During this time, he has held a variety of global managerial positions in both the front and back office. In doing so, he has managed various major strategic projects and initiatives. Marco Bazzani has completed a banking apprenticeship and further training to be a business economist and attended the Senior Executive Program at the University of Columbia in New York. He has also completed several internal and external leadership and project management training courses.

Linda de Winter will take over as Head of the IT Department from Marco Bazzani in April 2023, who is leaving Swisscard as part of his long-term career plan to tackle private projects from May 2023.

Daniel Muff

Chief Risk Officer (CRO)

"Our huge challenge is to ensure a sustainable and optimized risk balance for our customers and Swisscard in the digital transformation."

Daniel Muff took over as head of the Risk Department in mid-October 2020. As CRO, he is responsible for Swisscard’s entire risk management and for adapting existing instruments and processes to the increasing digitization of the credit card business. Daniel Muff was Head of Risk Management and member of the Executive Board at BANK-now from 2013. Prior to this, he held various management positions at Credit Suisse for 13 years, including responsibility for developing rating models in accordance with Basel II and working for the last five years as Head Risk Return Management Corporate Clients. He is a member of various industry committees and also serves as President of the IKO Consumer Credit Information Office. Daniel Muff studied Politics and Economics at the University of Zurich, majoring in banking and finance, and completed his doctorate in Economics in 2005.

Roman Binder

Chief Finance Officer (CFO)

Roman Binder will take over as Head of the Finance Department from April 2023.

 

Chief Growth Officer (CGO)

CEO Guido Müller will temporarily lead the Customer Growth Department until the CGO position is filled.
