Our application process

Our application process is quick and straightforward. Here, you can learn about the individual steps and find answers to frequently asked questions by applicants.

How the application process works

At Swisscard, we combine innovation, trust, and exceptional customer experiences. As part of our team you will support our customers, our partners, and your colleagues. In doing so, you’ll make a significant contribution to the continued development of our success story.

Once we receive your application, we’ll carefully review your documents. This process may take a few days to complete. If you apply to work in our Customer Service team, we’ll send you a video assessment in advance to assess your language skills. You can record this at a time that suits you.

Assuming your application was convincing, we’ll work out a suitable date time for your interview together with you. The interview can take place on-site or via Teams. Depending on the role, we’ll also send you a personality test and various performance assessments in advance. We’ll discuss the results in the first interview; they are part of our selection process.

The interview is about getting to know you and your experiences better. We also want to find out about why you would like to work with us, and we give you the opportunity to ask questions. This way, we can find out whether you and Swisscard would be a good match and what opportunities are available. For selected management positions, a trip to an on-site assessment center may also be required.

If it’s a good fit for both parties, you’ll receive a binding offer of a contract via email. Shortly after this, your digital onboarding journey will begin. We’ll ask you for some additional documents (including an extract of your official registration and personal ID). Within a few days, you’ll receive your employment contract for your digital signature, and until your first day of work, you’ll get regular updates so you can prepare for your start with us.

Before your first day at work, you’ll be able to find a wide range of information in our digital People Service Center, including information about our culture and our values. On Welcome Day, you’ll receive an overview of the company and meet several key contact persons. A customized induction plan, a welcome package with additional information and tips as well as various training opportunities (e.g., LinkedIn Learning) will help you settle in quickly.

With the help of our compact checklist, you can prepare for your interview in the best possible way. This way, you can start your interview feeling relaxed and authentic.

Questions and answers about the application process

Select the job vacancy in which you are interested on the careers page and upload your application documents. We prefer online applications via our application portal. If you can’t find a vacancy that suits you, we recommend setting up a job subscription tailored to your interests so that you stay informed about new vacancies. Therefore, please refrain from submitting unsolicited applications.

You are welcome to apply for a variety of job vacancies at our organization. If several positions match your profile, we recommend that you do this, as it increases the chances of finding a suitable match for both parties.

A cover letter is not compulsory. However, if you would like to add to your application and tell us more about yourself, please feel free to do so.

You should generally receive a response within two weeks. The more specific your application, the faster we can review it – and the better we’ll get to know you.
