Meet Gabriela and Nico, our Release Train Engineers. Gabriela and Nico appreciate the flexibility that Swisscard offers them, whether that means their working hours or their opportunities for career development. For Gabriela, this has been particularly valuable: With the support of Swisscard, she has been able to improve her German. Nico, on the other hand, loves the variety in his job, as every day brings new challenges. A typical working day? There’s no such thing. One thing never changes, though: the opportunities for personal and professional development.
James and Agata – Scrum Master and Java Developerin
Scrum Master James and Java Developer Agata demonstrate the importance of ensuring that the staff benefit from a great work/life balance at Swisscard. James and Agata are currently working intensively on interesting projects. They organize their working days flexibly to suit both themselves and the team. Agata makes the most of her opportunity to work from Poland every now and then, enabling her to spend more time with her family. James particularly appreciates the in-house fitness center, a place where he can switch off after work.

Amor and Simone – Service Desk

The IT Service Desk is the central point of contact for all IT requests, both for internal employees and for partner companies. Whether it’s individual problems or major IT disruptions, the Service Desk is responsible for providing support and maintaining communication with all stakeholders to keep operations stable. Credit card fraud is a constant risk, which makes their role all the more important: They analyze suspicious transactions round the clock and protect customers and American Express merchants against financial loss. What motivates them? Enthusiasm, team spirit, and wanting to ensure the highest level of security. Paola, Patricia and Claudio – Merchant Business
Paola, Patricia and Claudio work at the interface between our contractual partners and the American Express customers. Their goal is to ensure that the American Express Cards can be accepted and used seamlessly throughout Switzerland – from small stores through to large retail chains. This not only requires expertise, but also flexibility, the ability to take decisions and great teamwork. In the video, the three team members explain the varied nature of their work.
