Meet Gabriela and Nico, our Release Train Engineers. Gabriela and Nico appreciate the flexibility that Swisscard offers them, whether that means their working hours or their opportunities for career development. Nico, on the other hand, loves the variety in his job, as every day brings new challenges. A typical working day? There’s no such thing. Scrum Master James and Java Developer Agata demonstrate the importance of ensuring that the staff benefit from a great work/life balance at Swisscard. James and Agata are currently working intensively on interesting projects. They organize their working days flexibly to suit both themselves and the team. Agata makes the most of her opportunity to work from Poland every now and then, enabling her to spend more time with her family. James particularly appreciates the in-house fitness center, a place where he can switch off after work.

Sourav, our Solution Architect, offers some insights into his team’s interesting, varied work. From designing complex architectures to ensuring maximum data security, the fast pace of the payments industry requires a wide range of skills and a high degree of trust within the team. At Swisscard, teamwork comes first, as that’s the only way we can be successful in this dynamic industry.

The IT Service Desk is the central point of contact for all IT requests, both for internal employees and for partner companies. Whether it’s individual problems or major IT disruptions, the Service Desk is responsible for providing support and maintaining communication with all stakeholders to keep operations stable. Mutual support is what makes the difference for us.

Hélder, Thiago, and their team provide some interesting insights into their work in Fraud Prevention at Swisscard. Credit card fraud is a constant risk, which makes their role all the more important: They analyze suspicious transactions round the clock and protect customers and American Express merchants against financial loss. What motivates them? Enthusiasm, team spirit, and wanting to ensure the highest level of security. Their working day is characterized by rapid action, technological expertise and a strong team spirit.

Paola, Patricia and Claudio work at the interface between our contractual partners and the American Express customers. Their goal is to ensure that the American Express Cards can be accepted and used seamlessly throughout Switzerland – from small stores through to large retail chains.
