Spending limit
Your spending limit is the amount on your credit card which you are able to access every month. This limit is specified by us after the credit assessment. Once set, you can adjust your credit card limit yourself using the Swisscard app.

You can adjust your credit card limit in two ways:

FAQ spending limit
You can find the spending limit for your credit card on the last credit card statement in the top left corner. Or in the Swisscard app under "Card account details". This limit applies in total to all principal and additional cards for the corresponding card account.
A shared spending limit applies to all principal and additional cards.
The spending limit for your credit cards is set for you individually on the basis of the credit assessment and states the financial framework in which you are able to use your credit cards.
If your card supports the installment facility feature, you can adjust your credit card limit directly in the Swisscard app. Please note: Only the primary cardholder can adjust the limit in the app. Alternatively, you can request a limit increase in writing using the appropriate form. If your card does not support the installment facility feature, please call our customer service if you want a limit increase. Swisscard AECS GmbH must comply with various regulatory requirements. Therefore, if the total spending limit of all your credit cards exceeds 25,000 Swiss francs, we require a certified copy of your ID documents.
