Swatch Pay is like a payment card on your wrist. No need to take your wallet or smartphone out of your pocket or bag anymore! To pay, simply hold the watch you have connected to your payment card close to the contactless payment terminal and wait for the beep. With Swatch Pay you can pay in no time! A simple, convenient, cool and secure way to pay (certified by Mastercard and Visa).
How to pay with Swatch Pay
Making payments with a flick of the wrist is now just as quick, simple, and secure as paying with your credit card – only much cooler. To make a payment, simply tap your watch briefly against the payment terminal. For payments up to CHF 80, you don’t even have to enter your PIN or sign a receipt.
How Swatch Pay works
To make a cashless payment with Swatch Pay, simply tap your Swatch Pay watch briefly against the payment terminal. As with all new credit cards from Swisscard, the watch is fitted with an NFC chip for contactless payments. There are currently more than 20 different Swatch Pay models to choose from, all of which are water-resistant up to 3 bar.
Swatch Pay uses a chip integrated into the watch case that enables contactless payments. This tiny virtual payment card replaces your payment card's sensitive data with a random combination of numbers. Swatch Pay is certified by Mastercard and Visa. If your watch is lost or stolen, you can simply delete your virtual card in the Swatch Pay app.
