- Swisscard is launching the first credit card with no annual fee and cashback function on November 1, 2018.
- The new Cashback credit card can also be used with the Apple Pay and Samsung Pay mobile payment solutions without any additional costs.
- Existing cardholders of a SUPERCARDplus credit card from Swisscard can switch to the Cashback credit card straight away without any formalities.
- The current SUPERCARDplus credit cards from Swisscard are still valid without any restrictions until their expiry date, until October 31, 2020 at the latest.
Swisscard, the leading credit card company, launched the first credit card with no annual fee with the SUPERCARDplus in 2006. This successful product has now been developed further by Swisscard.
Swisscard is launching the first free credit card with cashback function in Switzerland on November 1, 2018. Users of this Cashback credit card automatically receive 0.5% monthly credit on any authorized spending (then 0.25% from January 1, 2020). The new credit card can also be used with Apple Pay and Samsung Pay. The new card is available as Mastercard and Visa.
The Cashback credit card is replacing the free SUPERCARDplus credit card in the Swisscard product range, which Swisscard is no longer acquiring any new clients for from November 2018. All clients with a SUPERCARDplus credit card will receive the Cashback credit card in good time before their card expires. Clients can use the new card immediately without any other formalities: The Cashback credit card is activated the first time it is used and the current SUPERCARDplus card is deactivated.
Anyone who doesn’t use the Cashback credit card, can still use their SUPERCARDplus credit cards without any restrictions until the expiry date, until October 31, 2020 at the latest.
