Swisscard Executive Board
Swisscard management, our Executive Board, consists of eight experienced leaders. They are responsible
for the operational business in accordance with their specified tasks and competencies.
Chief Executive Officer
Florence Schnydrig commenced her role as CEO of Swisscard on September 1, 2018. In her previous management role as Head of Products, Investments & Marketing, Florence Schnydrig Moser was responsible for the development and marketing of the products of Credit Suisse (Switzerland) Ltd. As a Member of the Executive Board, she also held a wider management remit within Credit Suisse (Switzerland) Ltd.
Florence Schnydrig Moser studied mathematics at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL) and additionally acquired a license to teach mathematics at secondary school level. She acquired a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) qualification later on and has also completed various internal and external management and leadership training courses.
Chief Financial Officer
Wilhelm Rohde took over the role of CFO at Swisscard on November 1, 2018. He has many years of experience in international leadership and management in finance and strategy. Wilhelm Rohde started a successful career at American Express in 2004 with career stints in London, Sydney, New York and Singapore. He started his career in finance at the American Express Asian headquarters. Having held various finance positions, he was responsible for all financial aspects of the US-American and international card business global marketing budgets for private customers until the end of 2016. Wilhelm Rohde was the Vice President Strategic Business Development at the International Consumer Cards division in London from the start of 2017. Wilhelm Rohde worked for the Deloitte and Cap Gemini Ernst & Young consultancy companies in Germany before joining American Express.
He graduated in Business Studies from the Universities of Mannheim and Göttingen, specializing in finance and tax. He later acquired an MBA at the Insead Business School in Singapore.
Head of Consumer Business
Enrico Salvadori took up his position as head of the Consumer Business division at the end of May 2019.
Enrico moved from Credit Suisse to Swisscard. His most recent position was managing director of Marketing & Sponsoring at the Swiss bank. In earlier positions at Credit Suisse and Clariden Leu, Enrico designed advanced processes for successfully controlling and improving innovation in the fields of product management, sales and customer experience. Before moving to the Credit Suisse Group, Enrico worked as a strategy advisor for leading financial service providers in Europe and Africa. Prior to that, he graduated from the University of Turin with a degree in Business Management. He also holds a European Master in Management from the ESCP-EAP Business School.
Enrico has been living in the Zurich region with his wife and four children since 2007. In his free time, he enjoys giving his sporty nature free rein with swimming, running and sometimes even rugby. Enrico is also a music connoisseur: You can regularly find him and his family at concerts and festivals.
Head of Business-to-Business
Alex Friedli has been responsible for Business to Business and therefore for business clients and merchants since February 2013. Prior to this, he managed the company-wide transition program for the Swisscard IT processing platform. Alex Friedli has worked for Swisscard since it was established in 1998 and has held a wide variety of managerial positions since then. Prior to joining Swisscard, Alex Friedli worked in product management for card products at Credit Suisse.
Alex Friedli studied Economic Sciences specializing in organization (lic. oec. HSG).
Head of Human Resources
Barbara Allemann has headed the Human Resources department since March 2015. Prior to joining Swisscard, Barbara Allemann worked at Credit Suisse, most recently as Head HR Business Partner in the Corporate & Institutional Clients division. In the Private Banking & Wealth Management division she was responsible for the HR management strategy and managed HR processes. Barbara Allemann worked in different divisions at Credit Suisse for almost 20 years in total.
Barbara Allemann studied Business Economics at the Kaderschule Zürich and has a certificate in coaching.
Head of Risk
Özlem Civelek took over management of the Risk division in May 2015. As Chief Risk Officer, Özlem Civelek develops company-wide risk management and defines strategies with which Swisscard can achieve a perfect risk-return profile in its business activity.
Prior to assuming her current position, Özlem Civelek successfully managed the Process Engineering division at Swisscard where she drove enterprise risk management, among other things. She has been working for Swisscard in various positions since 2004.
Özlem Civelek has a Master’s in Business and Politics from the University of Stuttgart and further qualifications from the Professional Risk Managers’ Association.
Head of Operations
Michael Marek has been heading the Operations division since October 2014. Prior to joining Swisscard, he worked as Chief Operations Officer at Cembra and GE Money Bank, where he was responsible for the Underwriting, Customer Service and Collections departments. Prior to this, he worked for GE Capital for 10 years in various financial services positions in Austria, the USA and Germany.
Michael Marek studied Business Economics at Vienna University of Economics and Business, in the USA and in Italy.
Head of IT
Marco Bazzani has been heading IT at Executive Board level since October 2017.
Marco Bazzani has been working successfully in finance for more than 30 years, with more than 20 of them at Credit Suisse. During this time, he has held a variety of global managerial positions in both the front and back office. In doing so, he has managed various major strategic projects and initiatives.
Marco Bazzani has completed a banking apprenticeship and further training to be a business economist. He has also completed several internal and external leadership and project management training courses.
