Swisscard is taking over the issue of credit and charge cards from Credit Suisse.

  • On July 01, 2015, Swisscard AECS GmbH is formally taking over the issue of Credit Suisse AG credit and charge cards.
  • Nothing will change regarding the daily use of the cards.
  • All customers are being written to and informed in detail. The Swisscard customer service will answer any other questions round the clock.
  • This page explains the specific amendments to the GTC.

The change of issuer from Credit Suisse to Swisscard requires a few specific amendments to the General Terms and Conditions (GTC):

  • Swisscard AECS GmbH is the new card issuer.
  • The new court of jurisdiction is Horgen/ZH), Swisscard’s local municipality.
  • Swisscard is not subject to banking secrecy as the company is not a bank. However, confidentiality and data protection will remain fully intact (data protection legislation and confidentiality obligations under civil law).
  • A detailed comparison of the previous and the new version of the GTC for private customers and business clients is listed in the table below.
  • Other versions of the GTC for specific products follow in line with these amendments. The new versions can be viewed at https://www.swisscard.ch/en/gtcgci/.
